Boom Cheung, MAI is a Vice President within the Valuation & Advisory Services within the Northern California Region and is based in the San Francisco and Silicon Valley markets. Ms. Cheung has 15 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience, with primary experience in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Cheung is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and is licensed as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in California.
Ms. Cheung is a member of the National Affordable Multifamily Practice within CBRE, and she specializes in affordable multifamily valuation, including properties operating with tax credit, bond and/or HAP regulatory agreements. Ms. Cheung is also a member of the National Multifamily Practice within CBRE.
Appraisal experience includes the following property types: affordable housing, conventional multifamily, residential and commercial lands, retail, office, industrial and mixed-use development. These assignments have been prepared for a wide range of clients including national and regional banks, law firms, life companies, mortgage brokers, investments firms, REITS, pension funds, and private corporations, pension fund advisors, investment advisors, and mortgage loan servicers.
As a Vice President, Ms. Cheung provides support to junior staff members, and training and mentorship for junior staff members.
Prior to joining CBRE San Francisco, she was an appraiser at CBRE Thailand where she specializes in hotel valuation.
