Brent Scott, MAI

Brent Scott, MAI, a Vice President with CBRE’s Valuation and Advisory Services Group in the Tallahassee, Florida office, has over 20 years of experience in appraisal practice. Brent joined CBRE in 2011 and has appraised numerous kinds of property, including multifamily, retail (net lease, single and multitenant, shopping centers, malls, restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores), office, industrial, places of worship, medical (medical office, dental, surgical, hospitals), residential subdivisions (single family, townhomes and condominiums), gas stations, car washes, agricultural, manufactured home communities (RV/mobile home parks), vacant land, ground leases, planned developments, and a wide array of special use properties.

Brent’s primary focus is in Northwest Florida; while he is also licensed and has experience in southern Georgia and Alabama. While his practice focuses on multifamily properties including conventional, student housing, HUD HAP/Section 8 and fractured condominiums, he has significant experience across all asset types and classes.

Brent’s clients include financial institutions, insurance companies, developers, municipalities, individual owners, estates, not for profits and attorneys. He also has provided expert witness testimony and litigation support in the State of Florida, including the 2nd District Circuit Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court-Northern District of Florida.

Brent is a member of CBRE’s National Multi-Housing Valuation and Retail Valuation Group and is also a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of Florida.
