Brett Gray

Brett Gray is the Senior Managing Director of CBRE’s Charlotte market. In this role, he oversees business operations, cultivates a high culture team and drives the market’s growth strategy for all Advisory Services lines of business, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation, property management and client care.

Prior to joining CBRE, Brett served as Managing Principal at Cushman & Wakefield for 7 years during his 12-year career there. He led the Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and South Carolina markets, where he focused on market growth strategy including leasing, sales, equity debt and structured finance, valuation, project management, property management and client care. Under his leadership, C&W completed three acquisitions in a region where he was a key member in identifying, leading and post-acquisition integration. These acquisitions not only added new services to the company but facilitated the expansion of our business into new markets.

Brett is an active member in the community, his most recent involvement includes serving as an Executive Committee Member on the Board of Trustees for The Charlotte Alliance and a member and immediate past president of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of REALTORS®. He is a previous board member of YMCA of Greater Charlotte and the Charlotte Rescue Mission.
