Brett Schweitzer is a Senior Vice President at CBRE and a market leader in Northern Virginia office leasing. Known for his sophisticated approach to financial engineering and lease negotiations, Brett serves as an advisor to Northern Virginia’s most influential institutional and private landlords. He moves beyond traditional brokerage by integrating proactive market intelligence with tailored tenant retention strategies—consistently maximizing asset value and stabilizing occupancy in a complex, evolving landscape. Since entering brokerage, Brett has leased in excess of 11 million square feet on behalf of his clients.
Brett is actively involved in the Northern Virginia real estate community, serving as a member of NAIOP and CREBA. A native Washingtonian, Brett graduated from University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and devotes much of his time to the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he serves as a board member for Friends of Lombardi.
