Brian Linnihan is Vice Chairman in CBRE’s Atlanta office. He is responsible for arranging debt and equity, including first-trust financing, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and joint venture equity, for all types of commercial real estate assets primarily located throughout the Southeast. In his 20+ year career in commercial real estate, Mr. Linnihan has been involved in well over $10 billion worth of debt and equity transactions.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Linnihan was a Vice Chairman at Cushman & Wakefield in their Equity Debt and Structured Finance Group. During his 11.5 years at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Linnihan and his team were one of the most active and successful debt and equity brokerage teams in the Southeast.
Mr. Linnihan also previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporex Capital, LLC, where he oversaw all the debt related activities for the organization, Prior to Corporex, Mr. Linnihan held various positions of increasing responsibility with The Opus Group, including Vice President of Sales and Finance for Opus South Corporation in Atlanta and Director of Investments & Finance with Opus Properties, L.L.C. (now Founders Properties, L.L.C.) in Minneapolis.
