Brian Summers is an Associate Director of Property Management with CBRE overseeing property management operations in the New Mexico market. Brian has more than 25 years of commercial real estate management experience. Over the course of his career, Brian has managed more than 20 million square feet of office, retail and industrial assignments in Dallas, TX; Atlanta, GA; and Memphis, TN; in addition to his current assignment in Santa Fe, NM.

Brian has extensive experience in day-to-day property management, tenant relations, project management, tenant finish buildouts, budgeting and expense reconciliation, due diligence and sustainability practices. Brian has as sharp focus on ensuring that his clients’ assets are the best managed properties in New Mexico. This goal, coupled with Brian’s experience and CBRE’s fully integrated resources ensures each property he manages exceeds his client’s expectations.

Prior to joining CBRE, Brian held real estate management roles at Cushman & Wakefield; JLL; and Angel Fire Resort.

Appointed Receiver over a 1.8 million square foot mixed-use development. Executed restricting plan which resulting in disposition and clearing of $300 million default
Owner representative for LEED Silver designation awarded to remodel of Riverside Commons Tower 2 in Las Colinas, TX
Led 18 new acquisition start-ups on behalf of clients
Developed annual asset business plans for all assigned properties - in conjunction with client’s direction – ensuring properties met or exceeded client’s objectives
Established property operations audit program for Texas region that became a model for 3rd party managed properties across the country
