Brian Tranetzki is a First Vice President at CBRE. He has extensive advisory, acquisition and disposition experience. His previous roles in investment banking, corporate strategy and commercial real estate sales and investment roles have helped him hone this skillset.
During his career, Brian has been involved in over $1 billion in real estate investment, debt, equity, private placement and private and publicly traded REIT transactions.
Before joining CBRE in 2023, Brian was an accomplished multifamily investment broker at Marcus & Millichap in Phoenix. Brian was an Associate Director of the firm’s national multi housing group and, during the firm’s transition period, also served as the designated broker for the Arizona office.
Brian started his career in investment banking with A.G Edwards & Sons, a Wells Fargo company specializing in fixed-income trading for corporate and municipal debt securities, preferred stock, private and publicly traded real estate investment trusts and real estate syndications. He managed and advised on an approximate $50 million portfolio of assets.
After A.G. Edwards, Brian made the transition to a boutique investment bank and securities brokerage company where he served as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). In 2010, he began his career at Marcus & Millichap as a commercial sales associate in multifamily.
Originally from Atlanta, Brian has called Phoenix home since 1999. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Arizona. Previously, Brian held a series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as held a Certified Estate Planner (CEP) designation.
