Mr. Wasserstein serves as National Environmental Practice Director for the CBRE Assessment & Consulting Services (ACS) team, a division of CBRE Valuation and Advisory Services. Mr. Wasserstein has over 15 years of experience in environmental evaluation, remediation, and risk management for a diverse range of clients including property owners, lenders, developers, contractors, and public institutions.

As National Environmental Practice Director, Mr. Wasserstein manages a team of highly-qualified assessors and reviewers who perform environmental inspections and evaluate environmental risk. Mr. Wasserstein collaborates with clients to mitigate risk and achieve strategic business objectives while focused on managing scope, budget, schedule, and quality.

Mr. Wasserstein's over 15-year career in the environmental field has included real estate due diligence and compliance, as well as the identification and remediation of environmental hazards such as chemical spills, petroleum releases, asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, radon gas, contaminated soil and groundwater. Mr. Wasserstein has designed and overseen asbestos and lead abatement projects, and collaborated with stakeholders to remediate previously unforeseen environmental hazards encountered during major commercial construction projects. He has performed hazardous materials surveys, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and U.S. HUD scopes), Comprehensive Site Assessments, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessments. Additionally, Mr. Wasserstein has collaborated with architecture and engineering teams to design and install radon mitigation systems and subslab depressurization systems to allow for safe occupancy of Brownfields and other environmentally sensitive sites.
