Cameron (Cam) Ayles advises corporations and private equity sponsors across a broad range of industries — energy, infrastructure, industrials, technology, and professional services — on the intersection of real estate and capital strategy.
At CBRE, Cameron's practice focuses on real estate as a capital allocation tool and balance sheet decision, bridging corporate advisory and occupier services with capital markets. He specializes in transactions where the financial structure is as consequential as the real estate itself — corporate headquarters decisions, portfolio optimization, sale-leasebacks, build-to-suit financing, and structured capital solutions for investment-grade and sponsor-backed companies.
Prior to his current role, Cameron held positions at Brookfield and Newmark, where he developed an institutional perspective and understanding of the interplay between real estate and corporate finance. Cameron maintains direct relationships with institutional investors and leading net-lease and long-income capital sources, providing clients with pricing intelligence, execution certainty, and access to a capital markets network and buyer universe that most advisors cannot offer.
In addition to Houston, Cameron is most active in Austin, New York, and across New England.
Cameron holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied history and architecture.
