Associated Office
Carlos Silva is a Senior Associate in CBRE’s Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group, based in the New Jersey office. His core focus is debt and equity advisory for owners across commercial property types, with expertise in originating, structuring and executing financing solutions. He brings more than seven years of experience across commercial real estate development, private lending and institutional capital markets.
His track record reflects a deep command of both the debt and equity sides of commercial real estate financing. Carlos has supported the execution of more than $1.5 billion in debt and equity transactions across most major asset classes, and he has originated and managed a portfolio of real estate debt and preferred equity investments exceeding $130 million. Working as a developer, a lender and an advisor gives him a full view of each deal from the sponsor’s and the capital provider’s perspective.
Prior to joining CBRE in May 2026, Carlos spent more than four years at AST Development Corp., where he supported the execution of ground-up multifamily and commercial development opportunities throughout New Jersey. Before that, he spent three years in JLL’s debt and capital markets group, advising institutional and private sponsors on debt and equity financing.
