As a Certified General Appraiser of the State of Colorado, Mr. O’Hair is also a Member of the Appraisal Institute with two decades of commercial real estate experience in the Colorado market. Based in the Denver office of CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services Group, he has focused his practice in the metro area and along the Colorado Rockies Front Range. Mr. O’Hair also has significant experience appraising mountain resort properties in areas like Summit County, Vail, Beaver Creek, Steamboat, and Aspen.
Mr. O’Hair has appraised a wide variety of all commercial property types including office, retail, industrial, subdivisions, and multi-family properties. He is the Denver Industrial market expert and a specialist in the appraisal of special use properties. This includes, but is not limited to, religious facilities, golf and country clubs, event centers, restaurants, medical office buildings, senior living facilities, gas station and convenience stores, car washes, and school facilities. These are often on-going business operations which require extensive experience, knowledge and an understanding of the appropriate appraisal methods and techniques to value the going concern. Mr. O’Hair has developed the competency necessary to provide accurate and reliable value opinions for these property types through his years of analyzing them. He has also completed the Appraisal Institute’s class The Fundamentals of Separating Real Property, Personal Property, and Intangible Business Assets as now required for many going concern appraisals involving SBA loans.
