Channing Chen

Channing Chen is the Head of Tax Equity Advisory for CBRE Renewables where he oversees energy tax credit transactions between CBRE’s corporate clients and renewable energy developers and sponsors. In his role, Channing leads a team responsible for the origination, due diligence, structuring, and risk mitigation of clean energy projects on behalf of CBRE’s clients seeking transferable tax credit and tax equity investment opportunities.

With over 15 years of experience in clean energy project finance with former executive roles at Solar Power Partners (acquired by NRG Energy), SunEdison (formerly NYSE:SUNE), NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG), and Correlate Energy (OTC: CIPI), Channing brings a wealth of expertise to help corporates profitably execute on their strategic tax credit and sustainable energy initiatives. Channing's leadership in tax equity has positioned him as a key figure in advancing clean energy investments and fostering successful partnerships within the industry.
