Charles “Chuck” Willis is an accomplished data center and telecommunications leader with more than 15 years of experience driving strategic account growth, operational excellence and client success across hyperscale, enterprise and mission-critical environments. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing strong customer relationships, leading high-performing teams and delivering scalable infrastructure solutions that support some of the world's most demanding technology organizations.
As Managing Director, Account Management for Direct Line, Chuck oversees strategic client relationships and account growth initiatives across the company's portfolio of hyperscale and enterprise customers. Since joining Direct Line in 2018, he has held leadership roles spanning workforce development, global account management and key account leadership, helping strengthen Direct Line's position as a trusted partner for large-scale data center deployments. His experience managing complex customer programs and collaborating closely with operations teams enables him to align client objectives with successful project delivery and long-term growth strategies.
Prior to joining Direct Line, Chuck spent nearly eight years with Corning Optical Communications, where he held multiple sales and business development roles focused on optical networking and data center infrastructure. He successfully managed major customer relationships, supported large-scale data center programs and consistently achieved outstanding sales performance while helping clients deploy critical network infrastructure at scale.
In addition to his extensive account management experience, Chuck played a key role in developing Direct Line's workforce capabilities by establishing and managing the company's global BICSI Authorized Training Facilities and creating standardized training programs to support technician development and operational consistency. His unique combination of customer engagement, sales leadership and workforce development expertise reflects Direct Line's commitment to quality, scalability and excellence in mission-critical environments.
