As a Senior Project Manager with CBRE, Charlie Genovese brings over twenty years’ experience in the retail construction industry. Charlie is committed to excellence, accountability and has the ability to handle multiple projects successfully. He is experienced in ground up, tenant in-fill, retail roll-out, shopping center repositioning and remodels. He is highly skilled in managing construction projects, subcontractor management, bidding, budget preparation, construction scheduling, interior and exterior renovation, building systems and services, & site proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word and OSHA Certified, First Aid and CPR certified, Fluent in Italian.
Prior to joining CBRE, Charlie has worked directly on the owner’s side as an owner’s representative/construction managers as well as working for general contractors as a Project Manager.
Working for companies such as Town Sports International Parent Company for N.Y. Sports Clubs as a Construction Manager, he was responsible for building and remodeling sports clubs throughout NY, CT, & Boston. His work included multiple concurrent project ranging from one to five million.
Charlie worked for Fisher Development as a Senior Project Manager overseeing a remodel division for Gap, Banana Republic, & Old Navy stores throughout the entire Northeast Region. He managed open remodels ranging from two to four week schedules as well as roll out programs that consisted of hundreds of locations managing all new prototype installations.
Charlie also worked for P.C. Richard and Sons as a Construction Manager, responsible for building new “big box” ground up stores as well as remodeling throughout NY, NJ, & CT. His projects ranged from five hundred thousand to four million.
As a Project Manager, Charlie worked for Design line Construction building multiple restaurants such as Friendly’s, Ruby Tuesdays, and privately owned establishments. Additional clients serviced are CVS, Walgreens, and Monroe Tennis sports facility.
