Associated Office
Chris Bass is a key member of CBRE’s Retail Leasing team, having joined in 2022 with a focus on Tenant Representation across the United States. Known for his ability to build lasting relationships and deliver creative, results-driven solutions, Chris has quickly become an integral part of the team. He currently represents a diverse roster of national and emerging brands, including Activate Games (DFW), VCA Animal Hospitals Inc., Playa Bowls, Ionna, X-Golf, The Wrkt Pilates, and Layne’s Chicken Fingers. His strategic approach and commitment to client success have helped these brands grow and optimize their retail footprints. Chris also serves as the Sponsorship Chair for the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Forum, where he has raised more than $15,000 in sponsorships this year alone.
Before joining CBRE, Chris managed a portfolio of over 500,000 SF of shopping centers for a Dallas based family office, Hopkins Commercial Real Estate. His experience on the ownership side gives him a unique perspective on retail deal structuring and fostering win-win partnerships between landlords and tenants.
Chris is a Dallas native and proud graduate of Southern Methodist University. Having resided in Dallas for the majority of his life, Chris possesses deep knowledge of the North Texas retail landscape. Outside of the work, Chris loves spending time with family, especially his dog, Bronson.
