Chris Bass

Chris Bass is a key member of CBRE’s Retail Leasing team, joining in 2022 with a focus on Tenant Representation across the United States. He has quickly become known for his ability to build lasting relationships and deliver creative, results-driven solutions. He currently represents a diverse roster of national and emerging brands, including Activate Games (DFW), VCA Animal Hospitals Inc., Playa Bowls, Ionna, X-Golf, The Wrkt Pilates, and Layne’s Chicken Fingers. His strategic approach and commitment to client success have helped these brands grow and optimize their retail footprints.

Before joining CBRE, Chris managed a portfolio of over 500,000 sq. ft. of shopping centers for Hopkins Commercial Real Estate, a Dallas-based family office,. His experience on the ownership side gives him a unique perspective on retail deal structuring and fostering win-win partnerships between landlords and tenants.

Chris is a Dallas native and proud graduate of Southern Methodist University. Having resided in Dallas for most of his life, Chris possesses deep knowledge of the North Texas retail landscape. Outside of the work, he loves spending time with family, especially his dog, Bronson.
