Chris Dempsey is a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Industrial Leasing based in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 20 years of experience advising global manufacturers and logistics companies on their real estate needs, he specializes in lease acquisitions, renewals and restructuring, build-to-suit transactions and land sales. Mr. Dempsey excels in site selection services, lease negotiations and portfolio management strategies, leveraging lease and market data to maximize client value. He also provides comprehensive financial, labor, market, and transportation analysis services to enhance real estate outcomes for retailers and manufacturers.
Previously, Mr. Dempsey managed a national portfolio of 192 sales and distribution locations, encompassing 800,000 square feet, where he focused on value identification and process efficiency. He successfully reduced real estate costs through strategic consolidation, improving occupancy expenses for ongoing operations. His background also includes sale/leaseback transactions, site selection, advisory services for distressed properties, and portfolio restructuring.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Dempsey worked as a Transaction Advisor for UGL Equis in Atlanta providing advisory services to a diverse clientele.
