Chris Japhet

Chris Japhet is the Director of Facility Operations and is currently dedicated to the Comerica Bank account.  Mr. Japhet’s responsibilities include the facility management program for the nationwide client portfolio and staffing oversight for 70 client dedicated CBRE employees.  Comerica’s portfolio consists of over 600 locations across 11 states with 5.4 Million square feet. 

Mr. Japhet joined CBRE on the Comerica Bank account in February 2011.  During his tenure, he established an Engineering and Critical Environment program, and served as the first ever Director for that service line.  In that position, he conducted an infrastructure assessment program at 10 critical facilities and established a facility benchmark program with a 5 year strategy for achievement of operational objectives. 

Prior to his role with CBRE, Mr. Japhet was a Vice President and Critical Systems Facility Manager with JPMorgan Chase.  In that position, he was responsible for a 500,000 square foot operations facility with a 100,000 square foot Tier 3 data center.  He had previously served as the Lead Technical System Manager on a $100 Million+ multi-year data center construction program from design development through final commissioning and operational transition. 

Mr. Japhet's facility management experience of more than 12 years includes assignments in service, operations, project management, construction, maintenance planning, technical training development, process and procedure development, as well as business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
