Chris Sacks is a Vice President with CBRE’s land investment sales team where he focuses on land transactions across North Texas. Chris specializes in all types of land including residential, multifamily, retail, and industrial. He has a strong development background, which is a tremendous asset to his clients in navigating complicated land acquisitions and dispositions.
Prior to re-joining CBRE in 2024, Chris served as a Managing Director at D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder in the country. At Horton, Chris led the national commercial development platform which consisted of retail, self-storage, and office projects in conjunction with single family and multi-family developments. His role consisted of overseeing all phases of development including acquisition, pre-development, construction, leasing, asset management, and disposition.
Prior to D.R. Horton, Chris was with KBC Advisors, an industrial brokerage and development company, where he was responsible for acquisitions and leasing.
Chris started his career with CBRE, focusing on retail leasing and tenant representation which has shaped the way he analyzes the DFW market and trade areas throughout the metroplex.
