Christian Lee is one of the nation’s leaders in putting together large, complex real estate deals. He and his partners run a nine-person team that advises many of the largest U.S. real estate investors on the planning and execution of their investment, disposition and capitalization strategies. During the course of his 20-year career, Mr. Lee and his team have closed more than $14.47 billion in transactions, including several landmark office and sizeable industrial properties in Florida.

Mr. Lee joined CBRE in August 2002 as a Senior Vice President and Associate Member of the Institutional Group and was promoted to Vice Chairman in 2007. He previously held real estate investment banking positions with Aztec Group, Inc., Grubb & Ellis Company and Trammell Crow Company.

Education

Chris graduated from Boston University at the top of his class in 1989, receiving a BSBA, with a concentration in finance. He furthered his education by attending the Boston Architectural School, where he studied Planning & Site Design, as well as numerous courses and seminars with NAIOP, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Appraisal Institute, and seminars with NAIOP, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Appraisal Institute.

CBRE's Miami-based Florida Institutional Capital Markets Team fulfills the requirements of institutional and private clients throughout the country. With a global reach and exhaustive client network, our Team of seasoned professionals offers intelligent, efficient and proactive solutions to our clients’ commercial real estate requirements.

Specializing in the disposition of institutional office assets, our Team has executed 112 transactions totaling nearly $8 billion since 2018. Additionally, over the same time frame, we have arranged 51 debt financing assignments totaling over $3.2 billion. Since the teams inception in 2003 we have completed over $31 billion of sale and financing assignments.

Through many years of transacting with the world’s most respected and demanding real estate investors, our team has earned the dominant market share in South Florida and Florida for deals sold over $20 million. We have achieved this by delivering the absolute highest level of service and results.
