Chris Huskey serves clients across Northwest Florida with a specialized focus on healthcare and medical office real estate, advising health systems, healthcare REITs, medical office building owners, and investors on complex transactions and long-term portfolio strategy. His work in the healthcare sector spans acquisitions, dispositions, site selection, and development, with a strong emphasis on aligning real estate decisions with clinical operations, patient access, and regulatory requirements.
In addition to his healthcare specialization, Chris maintains a broad commercial real estate practice across retail, industrial, office, and land sectors. He represents landlords, tenants, and investors in both leasing and sales transactions, providing strategic guidance tailored to Northwest Florida’s growing and evolving market. This dual focus allows him to bring a wider market perspective to healthcare assignments while also delivering high-level execution across traditional commercial asset classes.
Chris has represented clients at the local, regional, and national levels, providing landlord and tenant representation to drive efficient, results-oriented outcomes. In healthcare transactions, he brings a deep understanding of compliance considerations, physician alignment, and long-term occupancy strategies unique to medical users and owners. He also advises clients on complex transactions, including §1031 tax-deferred exchange strategies, working closely with legal, financial, and development professionals to ensure seamless execution.
He developed a passion for real estate early, obtaining his license at 19 while in college. He has since built a diverse career as an advisor, attorney, investor, and builder, bringing a uniquely comprehensive perspective to every assignment.
Chris has served 23 years in the United States Navy and currently holds the rank of Commander in the Navy Reserve. He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), the Chamber of Commerce and its Military Affairs Committee, which focuses on strengthening civilian-military relations. He is active in his community, volunteering with charitable organizations, mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters and coaching youth sports. Chris and his wife have three children and six grandchildren.
