Christopher Kapler, MAI is a First Vice President with over 25 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience. He is in the Valuation & Advisory Services group’s West Des Moines office in the North Region. Prior to joining CBRE in 2003, Mr. Kapler was an appraiser at Iowa Appraisal and Research Corporation, and previously employed at AEGON Realty Advisors. Mr. Kapler currently holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
Mr. Kapler has appraisal experience in the fee preparation of real estate appraisals for financing, litigation support, and real estate consultation. Mr. Kapler is a member of the CBRE Hotel Valuations Group. His experience encompasses a wide variety of additional property types including regional shopping malls, lifestyle centers, industrial, multi-family, office/medical office, college campus, net-leased investments, restaurants, convenience stores, auto dealerships, and other special purpose properties located both locally and nationally. Primary geographical areas include all major metros in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
