Chris Shepherd

Chris Shepherd is a Vice Chairman in Silicon Valley and holds a leadership role within CBRE’s global Technology Practice Group. Since starting his career at CBRE in 2005, Chris has established himself as a market leader in the tech sector. Ranging from venture-backed start-ups to publicly traded corporations, he has negotiated some of the most notable and complicated transactions in the market. Chris has executed real estate strategies in Silicon Valley for some of the world’s most preeminent technology firms and has an impressive roster of global tech firms, including NVIDIA, a confidential Fortune 100 Tech Firm, Sony PlayStation, a confidential social media company, Lucid Motors, Zoox, and many more.

Chris is consistently a top performer in the Bay Area and nationally for CBRE, having been named to the Bay Area Platinum Producer list every year since 2012, a top 10 Silicon Valley producer since 2017 and in 2019, and 2021-2024, was one of the top 200 Producers in the company. In 2022, 2023, and 2024, Chris was the top producer in the Silicon Valley office and Top 5 in the Bay Area. He was also awarded Procuring Broker of the Year by the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers in 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and Multiple Category (#1 overall) in 2023 and 2024.

Chris’ experience uniquely positions him as a value-add for Silicon Valley investors and developers, including Related Companies, Westbank, Hudson Pacific Partners, Lane Partners, and others.
