Colin Mansfield is the lead analyst for CBRE Capital Advisors’ credit research platform, covering the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure sectors. His coverage includes leveraged loans, high yield bonds, and investment grade bonds. Colin is responsible for all fixed income investment recommendations, thought leadership and research, corporate access, and institutional outreach.
Prior to joining CBRE, Colin was the sector head for U.S. Gaming, Lodging & Leisure at Fitch Ratings, where he worked for nine years. At Fitch, Colin covered a portfolio of 70 corporate issuers and was responsible for all corporate ratings, credit research, and investor outreach efforts. Previously, Colin worked as a consultant advising management teams on strategic investor relations initiatives. He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut and is a CFA Charterholder.
Colin’s work has regularly been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Forbes, and he has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including the Global Gaming Expo and East Coast Gaming Congress. Colin was named into the 2022 class for Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40 by Global Gaming Business Magazine. He regularly volunteers for the CFA Institute as a member of the Education Advisory Board Working Body and a regional judge for the CFA Institute Research Challenge. In his spare time, Colin is an avid golfer and runner, having completed the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon. He is a member of Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, MA.
