Courtney Janto serves as Regional Managing Director, overseeing CBRE Upstate NY’s brokerage operations in Rochester and Buffalo. With over 17 years of experience across commercial real estate, operations, and investment management, Courtney supports the advisory teams in each market through a full-spectrum perspective to help solve complex real estate challenges faced by their clients.
Prior to joining CBRE Upstate NY, Courtney served as chief operating officer of Cook Properties where she led operations for the Rochester-based developer/owner of manufactured home communities — overseeing a 7,000-unit portfolio across 100+ communities. She also spent time working with a real estate fund managing over $150 million in assets. Courtney began her career working in a variety of roles at Buckingham Properties where she led teams in property management and leasing, overseeing more than 460,000 square feet of retail assets and contributing to high-profile mixed-use developments.
Courtney is a founding member and current president of CREW Rochester (Commercial Real Estate Women Network). She also serves on the board of directors of the Rochester Area Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors®.

Over the course of her career, Courtney has been involved in lease transactions totaling over 630,000 square feet with an aggregate value of approximately $47 million. She has also overseen a $150 million, multi-market commercial real estate portfolio overseeing all aspects of leasing, finance, operations and construction.Awards
