Mr. Amani is a Licensed Architect who joins CBRE’s Assessment & Consulting team as a Vice President, Property Condition Assessments. He brings five years’ experience in construction and architectural consulting, property condition assessments and real estate development, along with a strong background advising financial institutions, private equity groups, and developers across retail, multifamily, industrial, high-rise, and mixed-use assets.
Mr. Amani has performed Property Condition Assessments and technical reviews for acquisition, refinance, and loan underwriting, with experience spanning Debt, Equity, and Agency requirements - including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. His project background includes multi-family communities, retail centers, hospitality assets, office buildings, industrial facilities, and warehouse properties throughout the United States.
Mr. Amani’s expertise spans comprehensive property condition assessments, pre-construction and acquisition due diligence, construction risk management, and project oversight for portfolios exceeding $800 million in value. He is highly skilled in evaluating building systems, construction documents, budgets, schedules, and regulatory requirements to identify deficiencies, mitigate risk, and support informed investment decisions. His background also includes managing complex development projects through zoning, permitting, and municipal coordination, as well as leading multidisciplinary consultant teams to ensure scope alignment, cost control, and schedule adherence.
