DJ Callahan

DJ Callahan is a Vice President at CBRE, where he specializes in Advisory and Transaction Services in downtown Washington, DC. He represents a variety of landlords (from institutional owners to local developers) and tenants in leasing and sales transactions. His responsibilities for his clients include lease analysis, market evaluation, proposal negotiations, property marketing, and creating curated tour experiences for prospective tenants. Since joining the Advisory & Transaction Services team in 2013, DJ has completed hundreds of transactions, including the largest private sector lease since 2019 which was awarded Deal of the Year by both the Washington Business Journal and CREBA in 2024.

DJ began his career working as an acquisitions analyst before transitioning into property management running a 350,000 square foot Class A office building. This has given him a unique insight into the different motivations for owners while understanding the daily needs of tenants which he has in turn applied to his office leasing career.
