Dan Riley is a Senior Vice President in the CBRE Capital Markets Investment Properties Division and leader of the SoCal Retail | Investment Sales & Advisory team based in the South Bay office in greater Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Riley and his extended CBRE team provide a well-orchestrated array of commercial real estate services, including Disposition & Acquisition Services and Property Assessment & Optimization Strategies, all in aligned partnership with their wide-ranging investor, developer, and landlord clients.
Drawing from an extensive 30yr.+ background in the shopping center / retail specialty including investment sales, development, leasing and asset management - Mr. Riley has effectively facilitated the investment sales of over 484 properties in excess of 18.4 million square feet of space with total consideration in excess of $3.4 Billion since 2000.
Mr. Riley and his team focus exclusively on retail and mixed-use properties throughout California with an emphasis on Southern California. Mr. Riley is an expert in the disposition and acquisition of single tenant, strip, neighborhood, mixed-use, community, regional, and lifestyle properties. Mr. Riley and his team help their clients:

Dan is widely recognized as an industry leader with extensive commercial real estate and investment sales experience. He is known for his integrity, attention to detail, and ability to foresee and navigate through the most complex of transactions. Mr. Riley’s career in commercial real estate started at the Riley / Pearlman Company where he was involved in the development of over 2 million SF of neighborhood, community and power center shopping centers throughout California. Dan is a proud alumnus of The University of Colorado-Boulder and he resides with his family in Manhattan Beach, CA. Outside the office Dan enjoys tennis, pickleball, body surfing, golf, skiing, bicycling the strand bike path and barbequing.
