David March joined CBRE in May 2024 and oversees legal for Americas Advisory, Property Management and Government Services. This includes Advisory & Transaction Services, Debt & Structured Finance, Valuation & Advisory Services and Property Management in the United States, Canada and Latin America, as well as the Infrastructure & Energy and Government & Defense sectors (including J&J Worldwide Services). David also oversees legal for CBRE’s Corporate Real Estate and Procurement functions. In his role, David provides valuable strategic counsel to support business growth and manage legal and risk matters.

David’s extensive experience spans complex commercial, corporate, construction and real estate transactions. Before joining CBRE, David spent almost 19 years at the Target Corporation in various legal and leadership roles. Most recently, he was responsible for commercial transactions and advising senior executives on key strategic initiatives around technology, operations, innovation and efficiency. Before Target, David worked at Robins Kaplan LLP, representing Fortune 100 companies in real estate, commercial and governance matters. He also served as a law clerk at the Minnesota Supreme Court.
