David Nelson serves multi-market clients developing and implementing strategies to improve the performance of real estate in business. Since 1991 he has helped occupants capture value from corporate real estate assets, develop strategic plans to address new markets, and implement the necessary systems, process and organizational changes for sustainable success. Past clients include Disney, American Express, Pfizer, Lockheed Martin, Dun & Bradstreet, Siemens, and a variety of mid-cap and start-up organizations.
Nelson is a successful entrepreneur, angel investor and has served as contributing editor to three landmark Harvard Business Review articles on the role of real estate in corporations. He is an alumnus of Apgar & Company (a McKinsey & Co. spin-off specializing in real estate), co-founder of Accruent (a real estate software firm), and founder of N Group, LLC a corporate real estate consulting firm whose practice is now part of CBRE.
He currently serves two clients backed by private equity building new portfolios of high-value facilities in several dozen major global markets.
