David Zimmerman is a Director within CBRE Nashville’s Debt & Structured Finance (DSF) division. David began his career in 2009 and has participated in over $15 billion in commercial loans and equity placements. David is involved in the sourcing, underwriting, and closing of debt and equity transactions for CBRE’s multifamily and commercial clients. Through an extensive network of over 300 capital sources, including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Life Companies, Banks, & various Balance Sheet / Private Equity Lenders he works extensively on permanent financing, construction financing, and bridge financing as well as joint venture and preferred equity assignments.
Prior to joining the Nashville CBRE office, David worked in a similar role with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company (now PGIM) in the Washington, DC metro area. In this role he focused on the origination, underwriting, closing, and securitization processes for stabilized, pre-stabilized, and to-be-constructed multifamily communities.
