Dawson Rinder is Managing Director and Maryland Market Leader for CBRE, responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the firm’s Advisory business across Maryland, including leasing, sales, valuations and debt and structured finance across all property types. In this role, he oversees business operations and growth strategy across the market, with a focus on developing talent, strengthening client service and driving continued growth.
Dawson brings more than a decade of commercial real estate experience spanning leadership, investment sales and business development. Prior to joining CBRE in 2026, he served as Managing Director and Market Leader of Marcus & Millichap’s Washington, D.C. office, overseeing the firm’s business across Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
Prior to that, he served as Managing Director and Market Leader for Marcus & Millichap in Southern California, where he led a team of more than 100 investment sales professionals and oversaw activity tied to more than $7.8 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Earlier in his career, Dawson worked as an investment sales professional in the Washington, D.C. region, representing buyers and sellers of multifamily investment properties.
