In 2001 Dean began his commercial real estate career at Tom Jackson Commercial Realty, rising to Vice President. Prior to that, he founded and operated three companies, giving him a strong foundation in business operations and investment strategy. While at Tom Jackson, he worked on several notable assignments, including the disposition of more than 1,500 apartment units for a lender, industrial portfolio sales, and multiple retail plaza transactions across Northeast Ohio.
