Client Testimonials

Commitment and Market Knowledge was the primary reason that we hired Todd and his team. We knew that he was the best in the market and that is why we hired CBRE to handle our entire Office Portfolio in Downtown Kitchener. He delivers results time and time again. His focus is unquestionable and always acts with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

I have known Todd Cooney for over 10 years. Todd was instrumental in the success of The Tannery (121 and 151 Charles Street West and 180 Joseph Street) in Kitchener. He constantly exceeded my expectation in accessibility, market knowledge, and the formation of leasing strategy. His ability to provide us with real time transaction information allowed us to accelerate our leasing decisions and tailor them to an evolving market. We couldn't have done it without him.

I feel very fortunate to have been put in touch with Todd when we began our search for a Dematic office in Waterloo. While it’s not a huge space, he made us feel like we were his biggest client. He listened to exactly what we needed and the kind of environment we were attempting to create. He identified many options, weeded them down, quickly set up tours of the leading candidates and helped us find the perfect location at a fair price. We couldn’t be happier and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without his partnership along the way. It was always clear that what mattered to him most was that we be pleased with the result in the end. We certainly are.

Todd Cooney and his team have been our local, out-sourced real estate arm for almost two years. We continue to benefit from CBRE’s local expertise and national scope in both sourcing new tenants and with respect to current market information. Todd is flexible and responsive. Both he and his team have very deep local market knowledge and excellent relationships with tenants. We have, and continue to have, a strong and productive partnership.

When we decided to expand our business into Ontario we were referred to CBRE by one of our key suppliers and weren’t disappointed. Mike Black his team at CBRE worked hard to find us just the right location that met our very specific needs. Purchasing real estate in the competitive market of Kitchener-Waterloo can be very difficult but Mike was there to help us through the process from start to finish. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations in order to get our deal done. We are extremely excited about our new location in Cambridge which we wouldn’t have found without CBRE.

When I decided to grow my hockey training business at the end of 2006, I called CBRE and was immediately connected with Mike Black. Finding a suitable space that can house a 110’ x 50’ hockey rink is not an easy task, however Mike took every opportunity to learn more about my business including touring my existing facility to get an understanding of what a "training rink" is and how it fits into an existing industrial building. Mike promptly provided me with a list of existing properties for sale and lease and continued with regular updates almost daily, something I felt was very important. The staff at CBRE including Dietmar Sommerfeld and Todd Cooney are extremely knowledgeable on all properties and the market within the KW Region and surrounding areas. After numerous tours and meetings, Mike found the perfect space at 483 Conestogo Road. The professionalism that is possessed by all staff and the hard working manner they conduct business was the major reason we got the deal done on the Conestogo Road property and allowed me to expand my business to almost four times the size. Thanks again Mike Black and CBRE staff.
