Professional Experience

Dean Mayfield is a Managing Director and Alliance Director for the Education Management Corporation account, one of the largest post-secondary education providers in North America. In his role, he oversees the EDMC relationship ensuring operational excellence for a 5.2 msf portfolio and supporting its robust Facilities Management Services team. Dean most recently services as Alliance Director for the Lexmark International relationship providing Facilities Management, Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Project Management and Strategic Planning for Lexmark’s 5.6 msf portfolio across the U.S., Asia-Pacific and EMEA.

Mr. Mayfield’s professional experience includes commercial real estate transaction management, asset management and property management. He joined CBRE in 2002 as a Senior Transaction Manager working on the Nationwide Insurance account.

After five years and over 550 transactions, he moved to the Siemens account overseeing the entire Ohio portfolio. He was then asked to join the NCR account as Regional Director of the America’s region. In that role he oversaw asset management, transaction management, project management and financial/accounting functions.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Mayfield was Vice President-Corporate Services for NAI Welsh and managed the Huntington National Bank Account for NAI globally. He has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience in the greater Columbus, OH market working with several owners/developers in all aspects of commercial real estate.
