Denise Dexter is Senior Managing Director and Charlotte Market Leader for CBRE, responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the firm’s Advisory business in Charlotte, including leasing, sales, valuations and debt and structured finance across all property types. In this role, she is focused on expanding CBRE’s business, elevating the firm’s market presence strengthening its capabilities across the Charlotte market.
Denise brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience spanning brokerage, property management, asset management, project and development services and business operations. Prior to joining CBRE in 2026, she spent more than a decade with JLL, where she held several senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Executive Managing Director within JLL’s Project and Development Services business. Previously, as Executive Director of Southeast Brokerage, Denise focused on the strategic growth of the firm’s Leasing Advisory business across North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Alabama. She also served as Chief Operating Officer for multiple markets across JLL’s Carolinas, East and Central regions.
Earlier in her career, Denise spent more than a decade with Lincoln Harris, where she held a variety of property management, asset management and leadership positions. Her roles included Director of Corporate Operations and leadership positions supporting the Bank of America account, as well as asset management and property management roles.
