Derek Barlow is the Head of CBRE’s Metropolitan Investments team, and specialises in the sale of inner-city offices, strategic development sites, retail and specialised healthcare and social infrastructure.
Derek has over 21 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, including lead roles in development, acquisitions, capital raising and commercial agency. Derek has an in-depth knowledge of the site acquisition, feasibility analysis and development processes, which allows considerable value to be added for clients throughout the sales journey.
Derek first joined CBRE in 2005 and quickly earned a reputation for honesty and effective sales and leasing work for his client base, primarily focussed on LFR. After leaving CBRE to lead Bunnings Property WA/SA, Derek returned in 2018 and has led the Metropolitan Investments and WA Healthcare teams since 2020.
