Edie Hartman has built a distinguished career at the intersection of commercial real estate, operations leadership, and strategic relationship‑building. Her intentional approach to being a champion for both clients and colleagues across the Pittsburgh region has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor and collaborator.

As Operations Manager for CBRE, Hartman directs real estate operations and workplace programs across the Pittsburgh and WV markets. Her role blends strategic planning with hands‑on leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while delivering consistent, high‑quality service to clients. With a sharp eye for operational efficiency, she partners closely with producer teams, internal stakeholders, and external service providers to implement business strategies that drive revenue growth, improve client retention, and strengthen market positioning.

Hartman’s career spans more than two decades in commercial real estate and business development. Prior to joining CBRE, she held leadership roles with Cushman & Wakefield and its Alliance predecessor, Grant Street Associates, Inc., where she supported brokerage and property management services through periods of growth and organizational change. Across each role, she gained invaluable knowledge by engaging with prospects and clients, building communications and marketing strategies, and aligning real estate solutions with broader business objectives. Her experience supporting transaction coordination and launching new service lines has given her a comprehensive, end‑to‑end understanding of the commercial real estate lifecycle.

A defining element of Hartman’s leadership style is her commitment to people. She is known for building high‑performing teams, mentoring emerging professionals, and fostering cultures of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Whether leading change initiatives, developing training programs, or mentoring junior staff, Hartman focuses on empowering others to take ownership and accountability in their own growth and success.

Beyond her professional role, Hartman is deeply engaged in the regional real estate and civic community. She serves as President of CREW Pittsburgh (Commercial Real Estate Women), where she works to elevate the visibility, influence, and advancement of women across the industry. She has also held leadership and committee roles with Urban Land Institute (ULI) and BOMA, further strengthening her ties to the brokerage, development, and property management communities.

Her commitment to advocacy and mentorship extends beyond real estate. Hartman is a member of the Volunteer & Ambassador Council (VAC) for Pennsylvania Women Work and provides one‑on‑one guidance through the organization’s Three Cups of Coffee mentoring program, supporting women as they navigate career transitions, leadership development, and economic mobility. She is also active with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, lending her voice to initiatives that advance women’s health and well‑being.

Hartman holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a specialization in Public Relations from Ohio University, and she is a licensed real estate agent in Pennsylvania.
