Ed Thenell is the Chief Executive Officer of Pearce Services. Ed brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the technology, media, telecommunications, and data center sectors. Known for driving large scale operational strategies for some of the world’s most innovative and globally scaled clients, Ed has built a reputation for leading transformation at enterprise level.
Before assuming the CEO role at Pearce, Ed served as Group President for CBRE’s Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) and Data Center Solutions sectors. Since 2022, he has been a key architect of CBRE’s sector based service delivery model—guiding significant business growth, strengthening cross enterprise alignment, and elevating the integration of facility management, project management, transaction services, and strategic consulting.
Following CBRE’s acquisition of Pearce Services, Ed played a central role in deepening operational capabilities among the two organizations and identifying new opportunities for seamless, integrated client delivery.
Across his 30 year tenure at CBRE, Ed led major business expansions, oversaw multi disciplinary service lines, and guided global teams of more than 15,000 professionals through periods of substantial industry transformation. His strategic vision and ability to lead at scale have positioned him as a catalyst for innovation across the built environment and technology ecosystems.
