Ellen Ratner is responsible for Project Management for both owner and tenant build-out throughout the Metropolitan Washington, DC area. In this role, she brings clients more than 18 years of commercial tenant design and project management experience. Prior to joining CBRE, she functioned as both a Project Architect and Project Manager for several interior architecture design firms in the DC Metropolitan region. Notable design clients included American Express, Siebel Systems, Oracle, MicroStrategy and Capital One. Design assignments included standard tenant build-outs as well as:  Training Facilities, Call Centers, Data Centers, and Trading Floor requirements.

Ms. Ratner has worked hand-in-hand with both client assigned Project Managers and the General Contractor to ensure the successful build-out of projects ranging in size from 1,000 RSF to 130,000 RSF. Additionally, she has worked with several national clients completing projects in many U.S. states, thus giving her the experience to deal with the challenges in doing design and construction projects in various jurisdictions, as well as, dealings with large corporate users. Her commitment to client/owner satisfaction has led to many successful projects, repeat clients and long lasting client relationships. Her government experience includes Fairfax County DOT, and Metro Washington Airport Authority, renovation projects for FEMA. Her lawfirm experience includes multiple projects for Jackson Lewis, LLP, Harrity & Harrity, LLP, Shoun Bach, Walinsky & Curran, Leach Travell Britt, PC, MG-IP Law, and Sack Harris & Martin, PC.  Her association experience includes Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, National Parks Conservation Association, Center for International Private Enterprise.

In addition to managing tenant build-outs for both Tenants and Ownerships, Ellen has also had the opportunity to work on various Capital Expenditure projects at multiple building sites, including Elevator Modernizations, Garage Renovations, Cooling Tower Replacements, Fountain Repair work, Building Common Area and Restroom ADA Upgrades, Parking Lot Re-striping, and Wayfinding.
