Emma Buckland is Executive Group President, Enterprise and Chief Operating Officer for CBRE’s Building Operations & Experience (BOE) segment.
In her Enterprise role, she provides executive leadership of the company’s largest occupier clients, leading a global team of over 53,000 professionals who manage more than 4 billion sq ft of corporate facilities around the world. This team delivers highly effective occupier work environments for more than 150 clients, including many of the world’s leading corporations, through end-to-end, integrated occupier services. In her COO role, she is responsible for driving collaboration across the Property Management, Enterprise, Local, and Industrious business units that comprise the BOE segment.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Buckland served as Executive Group President of Property Management, where she led a team of over 18,000 professionals that managed more than 3 billion sq. ft. globally.
With a proven track record of driving focused business growth, innovative operating models and exceptional client service, Ms. Buckland has a unique blend of global experience, deep leadership expertise, organizational transformation capabilities and client-focused relationship building.
Working across multiple continents throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions in the UK, Europe, US and globally, including Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Property Management for CBRE UK and previously EMEA Operations Director at FICO. Her experience encompasses operational delivery, team leadership, and client-facing roles, including three years at Goldman Sachs in London and Paris in the Fixed Income and Equities teams.
Ms. Buckland is committed to developing the next generation of leaders and driving business growth through innovation. She holds a seat on the CBRE Women’s Network Advisory Board and previously acted as executive sponsor of CBRE's Future Leaders program. She is also a member of the Enterprise Risk Committee and the Executive Inclusion Council at the Group level.
She has been recognized for her leadership and business acumen, being named in Globe St’s 50 under 40 in 2020, as well as being awarded the Odger's Prize and Macfarlane Spirit of Cranfield Prize during her MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
