Erik J. Lekberg, MAI, MRICS

Erik J. Lekberg is the national leader of the Self Storage specialty practice for CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS), responsible for managing and overseeing strategy development for all Self Storage appraisal work.

Previously, Mr. Lekberg served as a Senior Vice President with CBRE, Inc. Fund Valuations (Americas). He has completed advising and valuation assignments encompassing numerous commercial property types in over 37 US states. His experience includes a wide variety of engagements that have been completed for financial reporting for pension fund requirements, asset management and portfolio monitoring, purchase and sale advisement, and collateral financing. These assignments have been prepared for a wide range of clients including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lenders, HUD lenders, accountants, law firms, national and regional banks, CMBS and private-equity lenders, life companies, mortgage brokers, investments firms, REITS, pension funds, and private corporations, pension fund advisors, investment advisors, and mortgage loan servicers. Mr. Lekberg has proven experience with commercial properties in the major asset classes of self-storage, multi-family, student housing, retail, office, industrial, land, and mixed-use developments.
