Ernest joined CBRE in 2026 and brings extensive experience in commercial real estate, having executed transactions across a wide range of product types including land, industrial warehouses, multi-tenant retail strip centers, single-tenant retail properties, office leasing, and general retail leasing.
His primary geographic expertise is the Rio Grande Valley (RGV), a four-county region in South Texas encompassing the McAllen–Mission–Edinburg, Harlingen, and Brownsville MSAs. Ernest’s deep knowledge of the local RGV market, combined with his strengths in retail asset evaluation and financial analysis, enables clients to make informed and confident real estate decisions.
Over the course of more than 20 years of real estate transactions, Ernest has built strong local and national relationships by consistently delivering superior service. He takes a solutions-oriented approach of solving instead of selling —focused on understanding each client’s business and assets and proactively addressing real estate challenges—which has resulted in long-term client partnerships.
Prior to joining CBRE, Ernest developed a strong financial foundation through roles in banking, land development, and construction.
Ernest earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University, where he was a four-year letterman on the Baylor Golf Team.
