F Scott Taylor

Mr. Taylor serves as the Texas Practice Leader for the Property Tax Services Group. In his position, he is responsible for developing, leading and managing the Texas Property Tax Practice. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a Senior Director who lead the North Texas Region for Cushman & Wakefield and prior to that position he was a national practice leader for a team of 43 property tax professionals that served a broad client base. His strong technical and management skills with an impressive track record of more than 25 years of hands-on experience in valuation and property tax management have been a real asset to his clients. 

Mr. Taylor has the proven ability to design and implement property tax minimization strategies for varies companies and industries. His practice conducts due diligence reviews and incorporates proactive activities into tax reductions plans. Mr. Taylor has developed new and innovative programs for uniformity analysis of assessments for complex properties. He has extensive experience in managing real and personal property portfolios using a network of consultants, attorneys and appraisers to aggressively pursue favorable tax assessments. His expertise encompasses the administrative review through judicial level of appeals. Mr. Taylor began his professional careers as a real estate appraiser with a local appraisal firm. He has in-depth knowledge of all complex property types and filing requirements including renditions, exemptions and abatements.
