Gail Austin

As the Global Director, Learning Content and Programs, Gail focuses on supporting global learning programs through curation of learning content, governance, data insights and featuring thoughtful, impactful learning content across social and collaboration channels.

Gail’s previous roles include:
Global LMS Lead where she partnered with a team of CBRE professionals including regional Learning & Development teams, D&T, and HRIS on the strategy, design and implementation of CBRE’s first global Learning Management System (LMS) and was responsible for the governance of the Learning platform. Gail managed the selection process and methodology for new on-demand content; and the integration of content within the CBRE Learning platform.

Director, Distance Learning where she was responsible for the company’s Distance Learning Initiatives. She worked with subject matter experts to design, develop and deliver online training modules’ and managed the company Learning Management System-myLearning platform for catalog content, access and functionality. Gail worked closely with the Compliance team to deliver their distance learning programs.

Gail joined CBRE in 1998 and began her CBRE experience working with the Asset Services group as a Project Administrator. In this role, she administered the Online Library, the Asset Services Training Program, the Global Standards, and Environments for Excellence property review programs.

During her time with the Information Technology group she structured the IT Training Group to implement business specific application training for the CRM platform. She produced more than 100 recorded training sessions on various subjects for use by CBRE employees. She also managed the client extranet site eRoom, the company document management system, and the proprietary client extranet iProjects.

Gail is retired from the United States Air Force with a background as a Training Manager and a Computer Maintenance technician.
