Grant Silver is a Director within the New York City Property Management group. Grant directly oversees all property management functions for a large selected portfolio of investor clients in the local suburban market.

With over fourteen years of commercial real estate experience, Grant has overseen ground up development projects, multiple tenant fit out projects and directly managed a multitude of assets, including laboratory, office, retail and academia. He consistently manages assets within budget while significantly reducing costs and increasing future savings.

Currently, at CBRE he directly oversees over twenty assets which encompass over 6.4 million SF throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut, Westchester County, New York and the Long Island region.

Prior to his role at CBRE, Grant was a Property Manager at Colliers International, where he directly managed 900,000 square feet over 16 assets of laboratory and office space, with direct involvement for a 12,000-square foot critical vivarium. In this capacity, he served MIT Investment Management Company’s tenants, including 24M, Acceleron, BioRad, Boston Biomedical, Intellia, Lab Central, Novartis, Pfizer, Sanofi, Shell and Wistia while maintaining operating budgets totaling $17 million, with over $4 million worth of capital projects annually. He also closely worked on Phase I of a ground up development of a 230,000-square foot laboratory building and started phase II comprising of a 275,000-square foot laboratory building while also overseeing multiple tenant/base building fit outs totaling over 315,000 square feet.

Grant has been awarded twice at the BOMI: TOBY awards for The Outstanding Building of the Year, 100 West Putnam Avenue, 100,000-249,999 category in 2016 and The Outstanding Building of the Year, 640 Memorial Drive, Laboratory category in 2014. Grant was awarded with Property Manager of the Year in 2019.

Grant has a BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and has earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University.
