In September 2018, CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) acquired CB Richard Ellis-N.E. Partners, L.P. (CBRE/New England), a long-standing joint venture with Whittier Partners Group and the leading full-service commercial real estate services operation in New England.
As Director at CBRE/New England, Mr. Kennedy is responsible for a suburban Boston office portfolio of 5 MSF, and 3 MSF in Rhode Island. He is responsible for directing the property staff at building locations, operation planning and client relations.
Mr. Kennedy has over 25 years of diversified commercial real estate experience in the areas of property management, leasing, development and banking. Under the banner of his own company, he managed the entire Edgewater Office Park for seven years, prior to selling the company. Prior to joining CBRE/NE, Mr. Kennedy was the President of the development company that began the Edgewater project.
Prior to work in development, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Merchants Cooperative Bank in Boston, Massachusetts.
