As an Executive Managing Director of Financial Strategy within occupier leasing, Greg Mikrut is responsible for providing sophisticated financial and analytical corporate advisory services required by tenants in the market today. Greg combines his experience and knowledge of capital markets, corporate real estate, and strategic planning to develop tailored financial solutions that enable CBRE clients to make fully informed real estate decisions, resulting in transactions valued at $3 billion annually.
Greg is involved in all stages of the tenant and corporate advisory services process. The primary services he provides are financial modeling, interpretation of financial impact, identification of potential accounting issues, and the production of documented support for lease analysis, space dispositions, lease vs. own decisions, and build-to-suits. Greg designs and customizes his work product to communicate information in a consistent, professional manner required by financial institutions and corporate Chief Financial Officers.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2014, Greg was a senior analyst in the asset management group at BioMed Realty Trust, a leading national life science REIT that was subsequently purchased by Blackstone. While there, he served as the primary analyst for the Boston, Seattle, and New York markets, covering 36 assets totaling 7.3 million rentable square feet of office and laboratory space. Prior to BioMed Realty, Greg worked at Savills, Inc., where he served as the lead senior analyst for a team of top-producing tenant rep brokers, managing lease transactions valued at over $250 million annually for clients such as Accenture, Exelon, and UnitedHealthcare.
