HoChun oversees Data Governance at CBRE. The scope includes global data ownership and stewardship, master data governance, data quality, reference & meta-data management and overall data roadmap. HoChun and his team defined and established the Enterprise Data Governance function, a data framework, the organizational structures, global resources, operating procedures, tools, and change management.  A critical goal is to raise the overall data literacy across the organization and influence people, process, and technology to enable rapid business growth. He also mentors client organizations on overall enterprise data strategy to leverage best practices for corporate real estate data and analytics.

HoChun has over 30 years of experience in data governance, management, and architecture, in commercial real estate, telecommunication, media, insurance, financial services, pharmaceutical, research, and e-commerce. He has implemented data governance, integration and business intelligence in Fortune 100 organizations. He also published and lectured about CRE data solutions. Prior to joining CBRE, HoChun was the head of Enterprise Data Governance & Enablement at JLL. Before that, he was the chief data architect at Comcast/ NBC Universal.
