Huaiyu “Eric” Zheng is an Associate with CBRE's Office Services Group in Honolulu, Hawaii. He recently completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a focus on Real Estate and Accounting at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Eric's professional journey commenced with a series of enriching internships and leadership roles at the University of Hawaii. As a Real Estate Intern, he played a key role in creating and managing cash flow models for a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties. Additionally, Eric maintained the rent roll, and performed accounting tasks as part of his responsibilities.
Further expanding his expertise, Eric worked as an Intern at a Commercial Real Estate Private Equity Fund. In this role, he provided valuable support to the investment committee by analyzing financial information, drafting investment summaries, and conducting market research.
During his internship at Prominent real estate firm, Eric also participated in the Project Destined internship program where he further developed his skills and knowledge in commercial real estate including valuation, financial modeling and market analysis.
While still in school, Eric was already demonstrating his strong leadership capabilities as President and Founder of the Real Estate Club, and as director of the Calvin Shindo Student Venture Fund at the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship.
