Jack Durburg leads the Global Account Management (GAM) group, a team of professionals who are charged with cultivating a deep understanding of our largest occupier clients’ unique real estate needs and delivering a more strategic and integrated client experience across CBRE’s full suite of services and capabilities.
The GAM team is empowered to work collaboratively across all CBRE business segments and existing account teams to deliver enhanced client value. Its unique approach enables CBRE to be the premier strategic advisor for occupiers.
A 25-year veteran of CBRE, Mr. Durburg has had many senior roles at the company. Most recently, he had executive responsibility for the Advisory Services geographic operations in the U.S. and Canada, the Capital Markets and Advisory & Transaction Services business lines in the Americas, and Global Client Care.
He earlier served as Chief Executive Officer of CBRE’s Advisory Services business segment, Chief Executive Officer of the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) business segment, and CBRE’s Global Chief Operating Officer.
Earlier, Mr. Durburg served as Group President and Chief Executive Officer of the Americas, where he had responsibility for all the firm’s geographies and service lines within the region.
Prior to his Americas leadership role, he was Global President, Advisory & Transaction Services, encompassing leasing and sales across all product types (office, industrial and retail) for occupiers and investors.
Earlier, he served as President, Central Division, where he directed a geographical division encompassing more than 25 offices across nine states, with responsibility for all service lines. Before that, he served as Executive Managing Director and overall market leader for CBRE’s Chicago region.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2001, Mr. Durburg served as Vice President and Regional Leasing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. in Chicago.
